Princess Aiko to ascend the throne

Princess Aiko to ascend the throne is the Japanese people’s strong wish under more than 85 percent’s assent.

Now is the time to change the Imperial Household Law that excludes women to be the emperors, and to allow the female emperor.

The bill for reforming the Imperial Household Law and allowing female emperors had almost passed the parliament on January 20, 2006 under Prime Minister Koizumi,  however at the the exact timing Abe Shinzo (LDP Secretary General then), who was close to Prince Akishino, brought the news that Akishino’s wife Kiko became pregnant. Therefore the discussion was totally stopped and then terminated, to our great regret. We regard this pregnancy as a terrorism that deprives Princess Aiko’s natural right to the throne. There has been a rumor that Kiko’s pregnancy was by male fertilized egg sorting that is illegal and unethical. Under a request of Michiko, Empress then and Hakeda, the Secretary of the Imperial Household Agency, this pregnancy terrorism was executed. It is really despicable!

Recently Kan Cabint announces that it will organize an expert meeting group to discuss the issue of the imperial succession. However, who will be the members of the group has not yet to be opened. The issue, which is our strong concern, must be discussed publicly, not in the closed-room meeting like the one on nominating the successor of Mori, Olympic Committee Chairman, whose attacks on women was recently publisized all over the world and severely criticized.
